All quotes are for estimating purposes only and final invoicing may differ based on actual hours worked. Pricing is good for 30 days from the receipt of your estimate. 

Crane Minimums are billed port to port unless otherwise specified.

 

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel can be subject to Show-Up Time or additional billed hours. Reordering of permits (if applicable) will be additional. 

Allow time for travel, assembly, and disassembly. All work involved in the assembly and/or disassembly of the equipment shall be assigned to and performed exclusively by P&G Crane's employees who are represented by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150, AFL-CIO.

Straight Time is from 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday. Overtime is any time before 7:00 am, through lunch which is 12:00-12:30 pm or after 3:30 pm. Any hours worked or traveled during these times will be billed at the hourly overtime rates in addition to the hourly crane rates listed in your estimate. 

Travel/Overweight Permits are based on state and municipality fees and may vary. Tollway permits are additional.

City of Chicago Street Permits require 5 business days advance notice. All pricing is an estimate based on our experience and may change as final street permit costs are determined by the City of Chicago. City of Chicago ordinance requires “No Parking” signs (when applicable) to be posted by City employees at least 72 hours prior to the start of work.

Travel Restrictions on cranes 120 tons or larger are permitted to travel from sunrise to sunset 7 days a week (certain restrictions may apply to holidays or special events). 

Rigging includes standard straps and shackles, unless otherwise specified. If specialty rigging is required, an additional price will apply depending on the requested equipment. Delivery and pick up of rigging and attachments that cannot travel on our crane, will be subject to additional charges.

Administrative Fees vary but generally include the following: Lift Plans ($250), Pre-Lift Site or Safety Meetings ($105/hr), as required by General Contractors. Site specific training will be billed at listed labor rates.

All Cranes & Equipment quoted are subject to availability.

Lift Information that provides accurate weights, heights, and radius are provided to P&G Crane.

Access/Parking is to be provided by the Contractor/Owner which allows reasonable access for equipment and a safe place to work which complies with Federal OSHA standards. Firm, level, all weather roadways, access road and ramps, and work areas will be provided for cranes and transporting equipment. Customer is responsible to either provide parking for the operator/crew on the jobsite or shall be subject to additional charges to reimburse for the cost of parking.

Lifting Lugs: P&G Crane will assume no liability or responsibility for the adequacy of the design or the strength of any lifting lug embedded or attached to any object to which we attach for handling or holding. Regardless if it is furnished by the Contractor/Owner or manufacturer.

Ground Conditions such as parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, vaulted areas, streets, landscaping, etc. Due to the extreme weight on our cranes, P&G Crane cannot be responsible for any damage done to any of the above. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to verify with city engineers or the proper authorities that the crane is not setting up on any vaulted structures. Any liability related to any of the above is the express responsibility of the contractor. Additional costs associated with any imaging or surveying of the ground is the responsibility of the customer.

Designate a competent signal/rigging person. Identify these individuals to Crane Operator. Upon request, P&G Crane can provide signal or rigging persons and will be billed at listed labor rates. 

Show-Up Time will be the responsibility of the Contractor. If the job is canceled day-of, a (3) hour minimum will apply to pay the union-imposed labor show-up times.
